I now understand that the best way for me to stay healthy is to stick to a rather rigid routine. Wake up and get up at the same time each day and go to sleep at the same time each night. Eat regular meals at the same time each day.
For example I can relapse if I am away from home (my nest) for longer than a week and I start to feel edgy and nervous. Similarly if my diet has gone off track and I am drinking too much caffeine, then my mood is affected and I do not sleep properly. (I am out of sync completely with my diet at the moment and can really feel it is causing problems, especially with sleeping). The biggest reason for relapse is stress. So try always to recognise and avoid the things that cause you stress.
